Need For Speed Most Wanted

I’ve been keeping a very close eye on the NFS game series ever since EA brought out Underground.

Underground was one of the first games I actually enjoyed purely on the fun side - earn a reputation and build up a car that you would never really be seen in normally, so I really can’t wait for the latest installment, Most Wanted, as they’ve now brought back an old feature to the game and that is cop-dodging.

Last night I downloaded the demo and had a quick play, and it does seem like fun, especially making sure you’re not caught by the cops (you can damage their cars which is fun!). The actual driving part seems to have been made a little more diffecult so I think that may take some getting used to.

Need for Speed - Most Wanted

I can’t wait for this to be released!

Free Mobile Calls With Advertising

I’m pretty sure that it’s only a matter of time before mobile network companies will start offering free mobile calls if you opt for advertising. The one way I could see this happening is by them replacing your ring-tone with a short advertisement each time your phone rings.

Would this be something that could take off?

Quite possibily, especially if you could specify the types of adverts you would be willing to put up with (i.e. Gaming, Music, Movies, etc).

Advanced ColdFusion MX Development

Between the 3rd and 5th of November 2005 I attended the Advanced ColdFusion MX Development Course held by Highlander.

The course was well worth the money as it dealt with things like structures and arrays (which I really didn’t have a grasp on what so ever!) along with cfc’s and extending these to web services.

It also covered trapping errors in database queries, which is useful.

Next? Well it’s got to be certification!
